"Hidalgo, Earth of Work"
It is located in Eastern Mexico. Hidalgo is bordered by San Luis Potosí and Veracruz on the north, Puebla on the east, Tlaxcalaand México on the south and Querétaro on the west.

secretary of tourism has divided the state’s attraction into
"corridors" with similar themes. The Corridor de la Montaña (Mountain
Corridor) is devoted to ecotourism and includes a number of different climates
and ecosystems. These areas favor activities such as camping, extreme sports
and well as family activities. They include places such as old mining
haciendas, archeological sites and state parks.
